SPAIN passes new “start-up” law to attract foreign workers and digital nomads perfect for those who want to live and work Marbella, Costa del Sol, or anywhere in Spain.

The “Start-Up” law allows digital nomads to have non-resident status while living and working in Spain for six to 12 months
without needing an official work visa.
Conditions :
You must make at least 80% of your income working for non-Spanish companies.
You can extend your visa twice, meaning digital nomads could stay in Spain for up to three years.
The visa applies to foreign nationals from non-European Union countries.

Proof of remote work — you must be able to prove that you are a freelancer with overseas clients, a start-up owner, or you are an employee of a foreign company located outside of Spain
Passport — you must have a valid passport
Other documents — also be prepared to provide proof of income, proof of medical insurance and bank statements.
